I'm New

New to Lake Park Church of Christ? This is the best place to start!

We know visiting a new church can be intimidating.

What should I wear? Where do my kids go? We understand the many thoughts that can come from visiting a new church, so we want you to feel right at home when you visit.

Below are some items to help you out!

What To Expect

When you arrive, you will be warmly greeted by someone who’s excited to help you enjoy your visit with us. They can guide you to where you need to go and answer any questions you may have.

WHAT TYPE OF CHURCH IS LAKE PARK CHURCH OF CHRIST?

We are a non-denominational church dedicated to helping others and reaching the lost in Lake Park and throughout the world. We are passionate about welcoming people from all walks of life and all backgrounds.

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR?

There is no dress code for attending services at Lake Park Church of Christ. Some attenders dress casually and some dress up—it’s all good! You are free to come exactly as you are, so wear whatever you are most comfortable in.

WHAT HAPPENS WHEN I ARRIVE?

When you arrive at Lake Park Church of Christ, you will enter in the buildings main lobby. You’ll be greeted by a friendly smile from one of our greeters. You can check your kids into our kids’ ministry. There will be a 1-minute countdown to let you know when service will start, so you can be sure to get your seat before the service begins!

WHAT IS SERVICE LIKE?

We start our worship with songs that we sing a Capella. After a few songs we will serve communion and have an offering. We’ll then continue our worship through more songs, which flows right into the message delivered by our Minister, Marvin Greene. Our services are also streamed live via video. All of our services close with a invitation to respond to God in both worship and prayer. We end our services with a few announcements about what’s happening at our church.
